My Favorite Extension Cord Upgrade

I never thought I'd have a favorite extension cord lol, but upgrading from those cheap basic ones actually made a bigger difference than I expected.

I grabbed one with a flat plug, braided cable, and outlets spaced far enough apart that giant power bricks don't block everything else. Such a simple change but it's way less annoying to use every day.

I use it behind my desk and before this it was just a tangled mess of cables. Now everything reaches where it needs to without stretching cords across the room, and I don't have random plugs falling out every time I move something.

It's definitely not the most exciting thing I've bought, but it's one of those little upgrades that quietly makes life easier. Funny how you don't notice a good extension cord until you've spent years fighting with bad ones. If you're still using whatever old cord has been sitting in the garage forever, it's honestly worth replacing.
