Explain to me like a 5 years old why Rhaenyra didn't want to legitimize Corlys sons after everything he did for her.

Sorry for my poor English but I really can't fit on my head why she didn't fulfill the request of her most useful and one of the most loyal supporters. I'm not a genius but it looked to stupid even for me.
