Tried being friends, you can see where this is going

Ex and I have been together for a year and a half. She broke up with me 3 weeks ago, I begged her to stay, she reached out again 2 weeks ago said she didn't want to get back together but wanted to keep in contact.

Me being hopeful agreed, we FaceTimed everyday, she came over on the weekends, we hooked up, drank, laughed. It felt like we were back together but I knew in the back of my mind we weren't.

Yesterday, I asked to see her again and she said she had dinner plans with a guy friend from high school. I guess that was my sign I couldn't do just friends but I still wanted to try. So I told her to promise me that if there was another guy to please tell me so I can let her go.

She got a bit upset, and told me she doesn't know what to say and that she thought she made it clear we were broken up. I said she was right and I told her I don't think I can do just friends. And we ended the call. That was it. It's the next morning now and ngl I miss her so much.
