Will BBN undergo a Multiversus-esque death or will it survive?

Multiversus did the exact same thing. It was a hot and upcoming game, Went on maintenance and went it came out again no one played it and it died. I kind of dont want that to happen since I liked BBN but honestly IDK if I can be asked to play it after this long wait
