I'm Just Me

I'm just me.

And I'm not going to change for you.

I'm just me.

I don't care what you want me to do.

I may be a little weird.

I may be a little strange.

But God has sent me here.

And I'm not going to change.

Whatever they say, or want me to be.

I just cannot change for you.

Because I'm just me.

God whispered into my ear, before he sent me to Earth.

I'm making you a little weird, to give joy, laughter and mirth.

You may be derided, and people won't like you.

You may not always like it, but just remember to try to

Be yourself, not anyone else.

Let your light so shine.

You may not have wealth, but you still have your health.

Your purpose on Earth is divine.
