I pay 600$ a month for insurance. Is this normal?

hello so I just moved here in the US last year. I just financed a brand new 2026 hyundai elantra a month ago and all the quotes ive been getting from different insurance was around 700-800$. Progressive was the "cheapest" one I could get for 250$ for the first month then 600$ for the next 5 months.

Im 21 years old, no driving history at all, just got my drivers license 2 months ago, in the military and I live in nevada.

Can anyone please tell me how I can lower this or if this rate is even normal for someone like me? thank you.
