My Experience With Rechargeable Batteries

I ignored rechargeable batteries for years because I thought they were more hassle than they were worth. Kept buying those giant packs of AA batteries every few months and never really questioned it.

Finally grabbed a charger and a set of rechargeables, mostly for my Xbox controller and a couple remotes.

Honestly wish I'd switched sooner.

Now whenever one pair dies, I throw them on the charger and swap in another set. No more late night trips to the store because the controller died right when everyone hopped online.

They've also been great for stuff like my wireless mouse, flashlight, and a few kids toys that somehow eat batteries for breakfast. Feels good not tossing a bunch of dead batteries in the trash all the time too.

The upfront cost was a little higher, but after using them for a while I'm pretty sure they've already paid for themselves. It's one of those small changes that doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize how often you actually use batteries.
