Best way to farm non-focusable trials gear?

Trying to get a good immortal roll. Seems like the only way to grab a few is to rank up in trials and buy them at Saint. This takes forever when you're a pve main and not super great at endgame pvp. Is there a faster way? Does finishing a passage enable you to grab a few rolls of a specific weapon?
