Lifeforms ARE Still Lifes

SpoilerDiscussion/Theory

"The more times it remembers something, the less it does."

Using Clark's terminology of memory, Lifeforms are the end result of the Complex misremembering a human. The Still Lifes we see in the movie are horribly disfigured and bizarre, but they at least meaningfully resemble humans. They could be considered moderately misremembered humans.

The Lifeforms though are an even further degraded memory of a human. A horribly misremembered human. To the point where all that remains is a shambling, barely human shaped figure, that can in some cases talk and emit noises resembling that of a human.

If we use the MRI analogy rather than memory, it could be said that the Lifeforms are poorly scanned or copied versions of humans, whereas the movie Still Lifes are much better copied, with Pirate Clark being the best copied of all. Though I like Clark's use of memory as the working factor, I think scanning is a sort of more apt way of describing how the Complex copies real humans to turn into Still Lifes/Lifeforms.

Now it's incredibly hard to say due to the very poor view we get of the FF3 Still Life, but if it really is sort of blackened and featureless, then it could be something of an in-between stage of the movie Still Lifes and the Lifeforms. No discernable facial features or hair. It might having clothes on but it's too hard to say definitively. But I stress the point that we are working with very little good footage of the thing, so it's nearly impossible to say either way.

I also think calling them "Bacteria" was a red herring, or Kane possibly changed how he wanted to approach the direction of the series at some point. The hay bacillus could also be a red herring. The strange growth rate in different parts of the body of the hay bacillus is still a mystery, however. Could potentially be explained by time shifting within the Complex, but that's a post for another day.

Thoughts?
