Does the FF7 OG have this much NPC story telling?

Hello, I’m new to FF7. Was a fan of FF10 and FF14.

I just started playing FF7 Remake on PS5 and I’m jaw dropped by the amount of quality stories these random NPCs have to share. So I got curious as I never played the OG.

For those that have, was there this much dialogue too? Was it also a bit adult oriented? I crossed path with 2 NPCs where the exchange was about infidelity lol that’s wild.
