would people want a new artists like the weeknd to pop up?

the weeknds old trilogy/kissland era was seen as the best vibe the weeknd ever brought out to the community because of the rawness, what if someone recreated that vibe? would people want to listen to a new artist who recreated the exact same vibe as house of balloons/trilogy and a new form of trilogy? or would it make it feel like a copy/too inspired. the weeknd doesnt own alternative rnb at the end of the day, but if you use alot of inspo in a good way will that be amazing or annoy fans?
