Spiritual ratatouille

Im not sure what flair this falls under but ive noticed something in my short time doing deity work. Different gods leave a different taste in their offerings. Its more pronounced with some gods more than others. One i can taste the sun hitting the grass on the shore line. I can taste the breeze blowing from the sea to the land. Another tastes like cinnamon. I was allowed to try my spouses offerings to their gods and I could taste the soil of the grave. Bitter and yet comforting. I feel like a spiritual ratatouille and I was wondering if this was a common thing. My spouse says they cant taste as much as I can but they get some.

Is this a thing? Ive been doing this and witchcraft for about 2 months now.
