The Road to P5 Bindings - Day 15 (Charms Binding Attempt 1)
I decided to dry run this the first time, to see how far I could get and to get a feel for this binding. Overall it wasn’t too bad, but it also just feels a lot slower than any before it, even the Nail binding. What I probably miss the most is Quick Slash, although both Strength and Shaman Stone make their absence felt.
I did struggle a bit vs Oro & Mato, but not because of the binding, just because I made some tricky plays that didn’t pay off. Otherwise the rest of the bosses weren’t too bad until I reached The Collector. I figured my training in this fight with the Nail Binding would have prepared me, but there simply isn’t enough time to charge my nail arts between attacks without Nailmaster’s Glory, and I got overwhelmed. In retrospect, I realized I’ll need to take this fight even slower, and start charging my first nail art a little bit before he even jumps up. I think I’ll practice this fight, and the last 7 in the Hall of Gods without charms. At least this is the binding that’s the easiest to practice for.
