Choosing between GCP and friend's Fellow

Hey all

I have the choice between 2 like-new espresso machines, I've used a few machines before but this is the first of my own. I have a decent job, but don't really want to spend more than like $700 at once and am attracted to the buy-it-for-life aspect of the Gaggia.

The gaggia would be $400, the fellow $900. The fellow is beautiful and I love that it works great out of the box, but I'm afraid I'll be spending twice as much for a machine that will not last nearly as long, and will be very tough to repair.

I am happy with 8/10 espresso and mostly make milk drinks for my wife, I am coming from a small steam powered machine (like a moka pot with a wand, Krups Il Primo)

I know y'all are going to be biased, just wanted to get some opinions
