Anyone regretting the platform they chose for the game?
I purchased Moonlight peaks on the switch because I thought the graphics would be far more impressive than on my steam deck, and I'm not wrong. However, from the moment I started playing it's been increasingly difficult to figure out minor mechanics.
Like replenishing my energy, or moving items in my inventory to storage and vice versa. Today I can't toggle back and forth between L and R when viewing the objectives and the map. 😩
So for funsies, I downloaded the demo on my steam deck. And the response time is so much faster. My character feels less slow, the controls feel more intuitive (though nearly identical, some functions work similarly like equipping seeds). But I've found the overall functionality more pleasant. Hell, even our little floof loading friend moves faster.
I really thought it was just me. I don't often play my switch. I download very specific games for it and I wanted moonlight peaks to be one of them. Now I'm regretting it a little bit. 🥹 Is anyone having a similar experience? Some of what I'm experiencing is definitely user error for sure, but I'm curious to know if anyone else is having a similar issue with the switch port. ❤️
I will say I'm so happy to be playing. I've sunk 10 of the best hours in over these past couple of days and I can't wait for more. 🦇
