Before comparing prices, ask:

• Is the home pre-1978, and does lead-safe work apply?
• Is this insert replacement or full-frame replacement?
• Who repairs stucco, trim, drywall, or siding disturbed during removal?
• Do bedroom windows still meet egress requirements after the change?
• Are flashing and water management details spelled out?
