I know this isn't the usual kind of post you'd expect here, but Reddit feels like one of the few places where unconventional ideas might actually find the right people.

I'm 24M, working a regular corporate job, and lately I've been wanting to try something different from dating apps or the usual coffee-and-dinner routine.

I've attended a few deep meditation sessions by myself, and every time I came back feeling mentally lighter and more present. Recently, I caught myself wondering...

What if I shared that experience with someone who's equally curious about mindfulness?

So here's my unusual invitation.

Instead of a café date, let's spend a day exploring silence, meditation, meaningful conversations, and a break from the usual routine. We can travel by bus, keep it simple, have lunch, attend the meditation session, talk whenever it feels natural, and head back.

No expensive plans.
No expectations.
No pressure.

Just two strangers getting to know each other through a peaceful experience.

Of course, we'd chat here on Reddit first, and only if we're both comfortable. A quick coffee beforehand is also completely fine if that makes things easier.

If you're someone who's been looking for something calmer than the usual dating scene—or you're simply curious about meditation—I think this could be a memorable experience.

If this resonates with you, feel free to send me a DM.

Worst case, we have a good conversation.
Best case, we both discover something beautiful.

Meditation Date? Hear me out.
