My cat pees on my clothes

Hi! My cat hates when we are separate and pees on my clothes when I’m gone and sometimes even when I’m getting ready to leave. I’ve been consulting the vet on this issue and they told me that she does this because she is anxious. They recommended me pills but I don’t really feel comfortable with going this way before trying any other alternative since it’s a behaviour issue. I always cuddle her before leaving and I try my best to spend quality time at home, but she doesn’t even like when we are in separate rooms and meows until I open the door. Any tips on how to reassure her that I’m coming back?
