Ineligible for CSP Apple Credit
Unusual data point that surprised me and stumped Chase:
I am on an Apple One family plan at $37.95 per month. Got the CSP, activated the Apple TV benefit. It appeared in my Apple subscriptions page, right under my Apple One family plan. This seemed to line up with what other Apple One subscribers on Reddit described.
24 hours later, I received an email from Apple stating that they had canceled my Apple TV through Chase subscription. Sure enough, it had disappeared from my list of Apple subscriptions, and my Apple One plan was still shown at $37.95.
Figured it was just a glitch. Activated the Apple credit again in the Chase app. Same exact sequence of events followed.
Called Apple. They said that because I had already received a free trial of Apple TV in 2021, I was not eligible. That was their final word on the matter.
Called Chase. They were surprised by Apple's stance and agreed that this eligibility hurdle not in the terms & conditions. They said they would take it up with Marketing and send me a letter in 7 - 10 business days.
Anyone else run into this?
