2007 CRV Engine Light

About a week ago my check engine light came on in my 07 Honda CRV with 190k miles and the code came back as a P0325 Knock Circuit Sensor Malfunction. I took it to a repair place this morning and they ran the code and drove it around and pretty much just said that's there's nothing they can do and this is expected to happen.

Is there any sort of solution to this despite what the mechanics are saying? My transmission has been jumpy ever since the CEL came on, which the mechanic took note of, as well as the CEL won't turn off which also isn't ideal.
