Adoption or Ivf please suggest which is better?

I am 35 year old male and my wife is 32. We have been married for three years but no kids. Recently we visited a doctor and came to know that I am suffering from infertility issues. Doctors have advised us to go for ivf through sperm donation or adoption? If anyone knows how is the scene for sperm donation through ivf in India? And is ivf risky for women? My wife wants to try ivf but I am not sure
