How did you find your first 100 real listeners?
I’ve realized something over the past few weeks while building my music project.
Writing songs is actually the easy part.
The hard part is getting even a handful of people to discover them.
I’ve been building my project Siggi & The Sparks from scratch while working a full-time job. Every real listener feels like a small victory, and every genuine comment keeps me motivated to keep going.
I’m not looking for shortcuts, fake streams, or bots. I want to build a real audience, even if it takes time.
For those of you who’ve already been through this:
What was the one thing that actually helped you reach your first 100 real listeners or fans?
Was it Reddit? YouTube? TikTok? Consistent releases? Collaborations? Something completely unexpected?
I’d genuinely love to hear your experiences. Even if it’s just one piece of advice that made a difference, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to share their experience. 🤘
