How come they dont just put the abstracted minds into new bodies?

This may be a stupid question but whatever, for some unexplained reason, pomni was able to access jax's abstracted mind in the finale and was able to talk to the normal him, if they truly are just normal in their heads and the abstraction proces cant be undone, how come no one just put their mind into a new body, considering caine did have control over their minds the whole time how come he never just did that
