What's the Respectful Way to Approach a Girl Wearing Hijab?
Every year, I travel to Morocco for extended periods during the summer because my job allows me to (I'm in the 25–30 age range). Quite often I come across beautiful girls who wear the hijab and are exactly my type, but I never know how to approach them. In fact, whenever I'm around them, I instinctively look away because I feel as though making eye contact would be disrespectful.
One thing I've noticed in Morocco is that there's a lot of catcalling, and, paradoxically, it sometimes seems to work. That's not something I'd ever feel comfortable doing, though.
So I'm curious: for those of you who consider yourselves respectful, traditional girls, how would you actually like a man to approach you? And if you're out with your friends, is it generally better not to approach you at all?
