So this is definitely a rant post but here goes...

Me and my wife thought we would check out the my Lowes event today. We moved to a small town recently and would normally go to these events in the city.

We got there 10 minutes early the event started at 10am there were a few people in front of us definitely not as busy as it would be in a big city. It took us 20 minutes to get there as we live in the country now.

The event starts and we were expecting to get some my Lowes money and a coupon and that we would be able to choose 1 item as a free gift. 

Instead they have a lottery wheel set up. PEOPLE WERE PISSED... including the couple in front of us...

I didn't want to start a scene in front of my kid. so i took the crayons and dog bowl (don't own a dog) we won and my wife and kid back to the car and went and asked for the manager. I pointed out the terms and conditions and showed them on my phone. and the manager told me to "have at it", and i explained that its not just me. everyone is going to be mad if they came for the event and you change the terms... and that he should probably take down the lottery wheel. keep in mind i said this as quietly and nicely as possible. and he said "well its a good thing your not my boss, now get the fuck out of my store" so i did. a random guy that was in line who overheard him did too.

for what was supposed to be a fun day out Lowes really messed this one up
