r/antiwork: The irony of a sub fighting work abuse letting its own mods abuse power with total impunity.

Before anyone dismisses this as standard subreddit drama, let’s clear the air: I am not involved in any dispute, nor did I engage in any back-and-forth arguments. Drama requires two active participants, but what happened here was entirely unilateral. I was participating in everyday, normal Reddit discussions when I was hit out of nowhere by a random, drive-by power trip from a mod. Being targeted by an unfair, one-sided action doesn't make me a participant in drama, it makes me the victim of absolute mod abuse.

I just got permanently banned from the sub by a mod named DamnGoodMarmalade, who threw a baseless accusation of "misogyny" at me out of nowhere. It was probably just a simple misunderstanding that I could have easily explained, if I had actually been given the right to do so.

Actually that alleged mod did not even reveal, herself, I tracked the whole situation to her.

Instead, when I followed the instructions in the ban message and politely messaged the mod team to appeal, they immediately muted me for 30 days so I couldn't even speak. On top of that, the mod blocked my profile to try and hide her name from me and cover her tracks. Pure cowardice.

The funniest part? This is a community literally built around defending people from toxic power trips and unfair treatment, yet their own leadership acts exactly like the worst bosses out there.

I just investigated the whole thing, gathered the evidence, and officially reported this mod abuse to Reddit admins. The fight has just started. Turnabout is fair play.

Well coward, thanks for your negative actions against me, we have just started the dance now.
