Chronic folliculitis on entire trunk. Advice?

I know this sub is generally meant for scalp folliculitis, but I felt I should ask here anyway for advice. For multiple years now, I have dealt with chronic folliculitis on my entire trunk: chest, shoulders, upper back, mid-back, buttocks, sometimes my upper arms and upper thighs. Basically everywhere but my stomach area. It also seems like it might be going up my neck as well now. I also have chronic acne on my face that doesn't let up either. The folliculitis is most aggressive on my chest and shoulders/upper back.

I have seen a dermatologist and been prescribed 3 different prescription topical treatments that don't seem to fix it. The only time it has let up from a treatment was when my chest was doused in iodine for a surgery, and my chest folliculitis became less aggressive and started to clear up a bit, which lasted maybe a week.

I'd like some suggestions, if anyone has any. I'd like to finally be able to manage this problem I've dealt with for years.
