Regarding work permit
Hi everyone,
I would appreciate some advice or chat from people who have gone through the General Employment Permit process in Ireland.
I completed my MSc in Ireland in October 2025 and I am currently working in Ireland for a petrol station. Is there anyone like me who got an general employment permit by graduate route please help
An immigration consultant is helping with the process. They advised that:
The employer needs to create an online employment permit account and add the consultant as an agent.
A Labour Market Needs Test needs to be completed through JobsIreland and other recruitment platforms.
The application needs to be submitted as soon as possible due to timelines around graduate eligibility.
The contract would need to meet the required salary threshold, with a working week of 39 hours and around €16.65/hour
