I got the job!!

I was working at a restaurant for a couple months and although I loved my coworkers, I hated the job and wasn't making much money either. I decided to try switching to a new restaurant. Quit the first one, moved to the second one, and found out I wasn't going to be working as many shifts as I was told. Owner was apologetic but said I should probably find another job, started listing off different restaurants.

I thought, damn, I don't even want to work at restaurants anymore! Left the second place after two hours, went home, had a good emotional cry. Decided to go to the park and met a guy who listened to my unemployment story and said I should go into sales.

I gave myself two weeks to find a sales job before I would go crawling back to my first restaurant. I wrote down all my new job requirements and taped it to my bathroom mirror, practiced saying it out loud as if I was telling my friends and family about my new job. First week I spent time applying and working on my resume. One week goes by. I figure, logically, if I'm getting a job in a week, I need to start interviewing now. In 3 days I got 8 interviews.

And then I got a job! I'm starting on Monday <3 I knew that my job requirements weren't anything special, though the time frame was a little tight. I just held faith and told the universe, this is a challenge and I wanna see you rise to it. Excited to see the next chapter in my life <3
