Advice on native brook trout

I've been looking at places to catch native brookes in Jersey and I've found that big flat creek is good, if so do you know how to fish this water are the brookes in deep water or shallow fast or slow, I know that depends on season and a lot of other factors but I hope I can achieve this personal goal of mine, thanks for the help

I'm also going try to fly fish but if there's a good set up for a spinning rod I'll take anything that might help
