[TOMT][BOARDGAME][70s-80s]

I'm trying to remember a game that I used to play as a kid in the early 2000s. The game itself, though, is significantly older than that. Here are a few defining characteristics from what I remember:

- Small-to-medium sized box and gameboard, with the board having two foldable halves
- Both the box and the gameboard are stylized like a forest
- Roll-to-move (dice)
- There *may* have been a tree with a face as a background character on the board and/or the box
- The premise (from what I remember) is you play as gnomes trying to reach the end of the forest while avoiding dangers. Perhaps a la Chutes and Ladders, but I'm not certain.
- The language of the game could be either English, German, or French.
