Is this cheating? Please respond your opinions !! Also should I forgive him ?

So my bf is doing his upsc (not exact course) along with his 9-6 job . We are on a long distance relationship since the beginning. Its been 1.5 yrs since we r dating. He is so frustrated of his life not getting any better , he lost his frnds , living with family and more importantly his dream degree is not even close to him .

So here comes the story

Last march when i took his phone i saw he was texting (normally) girls and I hesitated and made a big scene that day . After 2 wks he told me he need a break from this relationship . I felt lost . We will call every day for some time just daily stuff talking and all ….. but after 2 wks i took bumble to look whether he is there or not . And there he is … in bff mode he was there with pictures updated and shown as single . Later when I confronted him he told me when he felt alone he was sad and alone . He told he just updated his profile and just left there without talking to anyone .

So okay we continued talking normally then after 2months i asked him whether he took a decision of us or not ? Then he told me that okay lets continue and i told him a condition that to show me your bumble . At that right moment he hesitated he fought he shouted and all . At that night i realised all the girls i saw on his chat on march was from bumble and he exchanged his number with them and talked (again it wasn’t anything flirting type)

Again we continued talking after 1 more month i asked tomrw is your last chance to save this relation if you want so …. At that day he came to see me here and told me he love me . So i told him okay lets continue

Did I do it wrong??
