I want to use he or they pronouns but look very feminine and feel guilty correcting people.
Looking for advice on pronouns vs presentation. I don't identify as a man or a woman (I just feel like a person), but he/him and they/them pronouns are what feel right to me. The catch is that I love dressing very femininely (dresses, makeup, jewelry). People always assume I'm a woman, and I feel too guilty to correct them, especially my family, who aren't very open to trans/non-binary identities. Any advice?
I've also been told before by multiple people I know that I can't use the label of trans/ non-binary because I dress and act femininely, and it's really confused me and I don't know how to catagorise my gender, or navigating transitioning, as I do want to get/buy a binder, as sometimes I find my chest gets in the way and feminises me too much.
Edit: I would also like to clarify I changed my name from my dead name to Ashe almost 5 years ago and my family also doesn't respect my name change, but my friends do, but alot of my friends still don't respect my pronouns. I end up telling them once or twice and get guilty when j keep having to correct them!
