Ai is here folks; and the tech is not going away; in fact the tech won't ever go away.

Trouble is, it just might become a whole lot smooth & dangerous. We already see some of the dangers rearing their ugly heads; yet, humanity is still marooned on the emotional rollercoaster of foaming in the mouth because Ai is taking jobs & whoever still has his/hers, really wants to guard it by any means necessary! Understandable! For, you have mortgage/s to pay; food to put on the table for the family; clothes to buy, plus a plethora of other stuffs that need your bi-weekly or monthly pay, a health scare here & there; what one goes through on a daily doesn't need the added worries over the new sheriff in town called Ai!

But what difference does one's worry make? The tech is already romping through & the haves are wasting no time using it to the T!; for, to them its all about shaving off some millions in wage salaries! So your worries over Ai won't help much. You can worry yourself shitless but will it help? It won't help you & it won't help the entire mankind. The new class of workers is already in the hood. The question should therefore become: How does humanity deal with this new reality?

Iyam, I would say the discussions over Ai should shift; there is need to engage higher gears on this & asking the right questions is the only way to engender better & more acceptable presence of the tech in our daily life.

But what would be an example of the right questions? 

An example of right questions would be something in the line of, why should a human lose job to Ai or to an Ai machine like robot/humanoid? The "why" is critical because if the lost of job to Ai or to an Ai machine can be justified or unjustified, then a better avenue to plough along might be unearthed! Right now that avenue does not appear to exist or is full of rollercoaster riders, a situation in which chaos & wanton acts of aggression may ensue; a development not to anyone's interest. Navigating the situation carefully, given loss of jobs is a pregnant situation that can culminates into folks acting irrationally, is key. So, from the foregoing example of the question above, what would be the  
justification or not, of lost of job by mankind to Ai? 

If one looks at Ai as tech progress that would catapult humanity to the next stage of living in which some of the current existing challenges humanity face would dissipate or disappear completely from the face of our earth then plainly one's arguments would be in favour of the tech & therefore in favour of humanity losing jobs to the tech. For, the justification would be, if humanity had the capacity & the skills, why haven't the challenges been dealt with by now? Why should it take Ai to eventually eradicate these challenges? It therefore goes without mentioning that losing jobs to Ai & Ai machines wouldn't be such a bad  
idea! Because at the end of the day, some serious challenges facing humanity; challenges that have been thorns in mankind's rear end for as long as life itself existed, would be dealt with perhaps once and for all! 

The trouble with taking such a position is that, Ai & Ai machines don't live; and that means they do not demand for things even if in sustaining them lots must be expended. Things like water; energy; minerals; labour, ironically, &c. So, if, for example, there has to be increased productions of goods & services for the market, only living beings can demand for the outputs; not Ai, and not Ai machines. Clearing lags in productivities is great but what would humanity be busy about or produce more for? You cannot produce more goods and services for which there is no market, can you? A market is about supply & demand! Supply alone cannot make a market & demand alone cannot make a market! 

By this example alone, we find ourselves back to where we started! Square zero!

In your opinion therefore, what are the justifications or not, of mankind losing jobs to Ai & Ai machines?
