SmartWings Shades Connection Question

Hello! I am building a new home, but I learned about home automation a little too late in the process. I am super excited to get started using home assistant in my new house and this would be my first time using it.

I was looking at the smartwings shades and was wondering which of the options would be best for wiring them up. Unfortunately, all the drywall is already up and we're closing in a few weeks. Should I still consider getting the PoE option, or is it too late? Should I just get the battery powered ones with z-wave? The basement is unfinished so I planned to drop it all down below. I also saw something about needing a Thread Border Router which I'm not too sure what that is yet.
