Birth hospital q’s

Hi LA girlies!

Just found out I am pregnant, and while I’m in the early stages I’m starting to think about which doctor route I want to take.

I really like an OB who I saw last year, he practices out of cedars.

But I’m also holistic and thinking of seeing an OB in UCLA Santa Monica and if all would be well, applying for their nurse midwifery program.

Love the idea of a birthing center but don’t think it’s in the cards for me this first time around. With the cost and just a little more safety net with a hospital.

Would love thoughts, and if anyone has had experiences specifically with the UCLA nurse midwives as I don’t see much about them online. Thanks!!
