Is it normal for people to have work crushes?

I work in corporate, and there has been instances where guys would flirt with me. Or I have a group of colleagues around me who love gossiping about who may like who. The field I work in is very male dominated, hence, I find myself talking to lots of other guys cause I am the only girl in my team. I like to build rapport with my team so I may spend lots of time with them on 1:1s, it’s just unfortunate that they are all men and therefore people look at it differently at work. It did make me feel quite uncomfortable when they spread rumours about me with a particular someone.
But, I may feel like I have a crush on someone on my team. I mean I think he is a really nice guy and he taught me a lot about what I want in a man, it’s a weird feeling though and it feels wrong in a way. At the same time, people around me suspect that he may like me back because he does small gestures for me like bringing me snacks, remembering what chocolate I like, or leaving cute gestures on my desk for me to find. He also seems quite aware that maybe I might like him. I once texted him over LinkedIn quite late about a picture of something he really loves and I was super excited to share it. And the next day he showed everyone that I texted him. When I glance at him or we have chats he has said things like, ‘I’m not trying to impress anyone at work’, or that I’m ‘weird’ for looking at him or certain things I do. But am I delusional for thinking that if he knows then maybe he wants it? LOL anyways. I don’t really know what to think of the situation, but it does make me very excited at work, maybe I’m just looking for some excitement.
