Tips for comet shooting?

I’m planing to shoot a comet (Tempel 2), because apparently it has brightened, and is good to image. but, I learned that taking Astro pics of comets is different then just normal DSO’s. pretty much all I know is that you on u need to separate the comet stacking and the stars stacking. so I asked fellow Astro nerds so I can limit the struggle. thank you!
