Hot take but I love 1 day seasons

In my first save for the first 4 years I did 5 day seasons. Then reduced it to 3… then to 2. Then my entire year only took 7 days (2 days but 1 in winter) for the sake of my farmers. I finished every steam achievement, barely, as I got really bored in about year 10… I started a new save right when I finished them. I tried 2 day seasons for 2 years. Ramped up the difficulty. Lived in an easy area… but good lord do I love how long the years can take. I’m in year 4. Have a total of 5 villagers (besides my spouse I made a rule that I can recruit one non special event npc a year to slow myself down) and my child is 2. taxes almost every year have sucked. And it’s amazing. I love it. My last achievement save everything became so easy so quickly and I was fully automated a year in. This time? I have to actually take care of things. It’s brilliant. I love having to take a year to get such and such tasks done. It took me two seasons just to relocate some buildings to a new area. It’s amazing. I’m thrilled. Everything takes forever. No longer will my heir be extremely bored by the time she takes over my dynasty 🥹
