His father's son

SpoilerAll Spoilers

So the first thing Darrow tells us about himself is that he is his father's son,. But in the rest of the books we absolutely hear nothing about him or how he shaped him

He talks about what Lorn taught him, what Matteo taught him, wisdom of the book etc but no recollection of the man who was apparently so important to him

In a similar vein it is established that dancing and singing was central to Red culture and identity but Darrow almost never talks about it. Did he even teach Pax to dance and if not then in his many musings why is one dire wish not to dance more with Virginia and Pax

Like Lyria said to Virginia, "Your husband used to be a red'. I think Darrow has gone too far away from his red roots he has been tall for too long, hopefully him discovering Breath of Stone leads to him finding his Red part again and helps the Republic win in the end
