Help a curious brazilian out?

Hello there! My great-grandfather came from lebanon, Dib ( or Adib?) Audi, from Anfeh, I believe.

I'm on a quest trying to find out more about the differente branches of my family roots, but I can't for the life of me have any register of my lebanese side, and (surprise surprise), a Lebanese man without previous knowledge of portuguese and a Brazilian clerk in 1920s didnt have the best communication skills to leave good registers when he arrived.

Can anyone help a brother out?

Even the meaning or origin of the family surname would be nice!

Thanks!!
