So I was wondering if it’s actually possible to recreate real game replay just by using the battle replay data from RoyaleAPI. I haven't seen anyone else try this before, so I decided to test it out.

Since I'm not an expert in client modding and don't know how to host a private server. and don't want to waste much time on this.

**Here is what I did:**
Used client modding, modify the `demo.csv` file. In this file, you can input card names, coordinates, and spawn timestamps to generate gameplay on the card preview screen.
One limitation: We can't use ability on opponent hero/champion by modding the `demo.csv` , so had to find a replay where the op doesn't used champion/ability.

I transformed the RoyaleAPI data to fit the `demo.csv` format.

Since the preview screen doesn't show full arena, used fixed camera in demo.csv for the preview screen with 6 different camera offsets each time. recorded the preview gameplay 6 times and then stitched the clips together to get the full arena view.

If there's any easier way to generate the replays, please lmk.

**Conclusion:** RoyaleAPI provides timestamps that are accurate to 1/20th of a second. I don't think this is precise enough to perfectly replicate actual gameplay, as the `demo.csv` requires 1/1000th of a second (1 millisecond) accuracy.(maybe cr uses the same 1 ms accuracy to store the actual replays).
