Last Light vs Pocket Imperium

So I am madly in love with 4x/sci fi spaceship games (Eclipse, Twilight Imperium, Arcs, Star Wars Rebellion are all my absolute favorites).

Recently, I have been looking to get some new games within this genre that are much lighter. Things that are in the same vein as these that are easier to get to the table.

I found this splendid card game recently called Liberation that is essentially Star Wars Rebellion in 30 minutes. It looks awesome so I instantly bought that.

Now, I am also looking to get one more. The only thing is, the two options I'm debating between both look pretty decent and I was hoping to get some community feedback on people's thoughts on them (especially anyone who has played both).

Those two games I'm debating between are Last Light and Pocket Imperium. They both have wonderful aesthetics for different reasons, but I don't think I need both.

Has anyone here played either or both ?
