To people with abusive parents and have taken away from the state, did you ever get your legal documents from your parents back that aren’t copies??

I’m wondering what can I legally do & this probably isn’t the right subreddit but I feel like I could get people who have been through this on this subreddit than a legal question subreddit.

I was taken away from my mother back in 2015 and never ever did my dad get out SSN or birth certificates back. We had to go get them legally copied from the office. My dad is official done with my mom and wants to cut off ties, I haven’t spoken to her since 2019 because she just has always been crazy… I’m planning to go to the police station Monday to find out what I can do but does anyone else here know what I can do or advice?
