Update: I saw evil dead burned

So, yesterday I made a post about how Deadmeat helped me get over my fear of horror movies, and how I was proud of myself because I was so scared of the evil dead movies, but now I felt brave enough to go and see evil dead burn in theaters.

So, here are my thoughts: I liked it. Thought it had some great gore, but in kind of an ironic twist, I wish it was more scary. Like, yeah I was planning roast out, but I wasn’t really that scared. To me, the best evil dead movies are the ones that are both gross and scary, like rise, 2013, and the original. They’re gory, but there’s also just scenes of the deadites just being creepy.
