Was the Geiger gunner calling card ever fixed?

The calling card requirement is to get 50 supercritical canine medals on PJ, which is where you need to kill 5 or more zombies with the effects of a rad hound explosion. For the medal, the pool of gas it leaves counts, however, when it initially came out, only kills with the explosion itself would count towards the card. Does anyone know if this was fixed or not?
