I don't know why readers keep underestimating Cameron; I see ratings as low as 8.3 or 8.5. Maybe you all don't remember, but Cameron possesses the most powerful ability in the series, "Channel Master."

He has the same immense genetic potential and went through the same harsh training environment. He also benefited significantly from Jane’s experience, much like Remi did from Rei’s. Generally, the younger sibling is stronger than the older one—look at Remi and Rei, or Leilah and Seraphina.

Personally, I lean toward him being exactly a 9.0 since Jane is special, but I wouldn't be surprised if he were higher. If I had to guess, his level is definitely between 8.8 and 9.3.

**The Valerie Parallel**
This underselling reminds me of what happened with Valerie. Everyone kept saying she was a 6.5 or 6.8, and I remember someone suggesting 7.0 and getting mocked for it. Now we know her level is 7.5.

Therefore, saying Cameron is weak compared to his sister is inaccurate. If he were under an 8.5, it would have been easy to contain him, capture him, and exploit his ability just like they did with his sister to remove a potential threat. That, of course, is assuming he falls into a lower category, which I find highly unlikely.

Why is everyone underestimating Cameron?
