I was parked in one of the assigned order, pick up spots there, so came out with the blue tub stacked too high and attempted to pass my order to me through the driver window there yet when grabbing the top bag out, he pulled the crate off with it and it slammed into my rear driver side door. I have a dent and shipped paint from where it hit. I tried to make a claim at the store, but they said no store manager or asset manager was there at the time, so an incident report couldn’t be taken. That sounded fishy to me, so I called into corporate and did a formal complaint. I returned to the store today to speak with a manager, and again was told that one wasn’t available. They tried it out a coach who said that my claim was already filed and gave me a random number that I’m not able to verify.

Has anyone had a similar experience and how did things shake out? Any advice on what I should be doing moving forward? I’ve kept notes on all details, including employee names, titles, and have photos of the damage.

The claims department isn’t open again until Monday morning. In the meantime, I’d like to hear input from others before I have a chance to speak with them on Monday.
