Everyone is covering themselves in tattoos and it’s just bad

I Like / Dislike

I’m beginning to think I might wind up the last of my generation not to look like the inside cover of a fifth graders notebook (covered in bad doodles).

I don’t get why people are still getting them. Like really, are they stupid and think they’re being unique while actually being quite uniform, or are they just stupidly conforming to uniform?
People have to be so blind to think their tattoos make them stand out more as an individual, like I can remember being in school and every single girl (pretty much) got like the same skinny floral tattoo on the side of their torso.

Like what do these people think they’re gonna look like when they’re 80 covered in tattoos (not that’d I’d expect a lot of people covered in tattoos to see 80, but still)? My grandfather got one tattoo when he was 16 on his shoulder that is now illegible and on his elbow.

And like I just don’t get how people could think “that looks cool”, or “that looks sexy”, or most importantly “that looks like something I want on my body for the rest of my life”.

And why are people so proud of their tattoos? Like to me being proud of a tattoo is like being proud of a stain on your shirt.

I’ve come to realize I’m gonna have to be an organ donor, because I’m gonna be one of the only people left with un-inked skin. I mean just imagine if I didn’t, and then some motorcyclist wakes up from a crash in the hospital with sonic the hedgehog on their leg (not they wouldn’t have been asking for it by getting on that death trap, but you get my point).

Tattoos suck, and good luck changing my mind.
