Question about 54mg Concerta vs lower doses (first time taking the pill)

Medication

Hey everyone, I'm a 36-year-old man who was diagnosed with ADHD about a year ago.

I first tried Concerta 27mg and felt some mild effects, but they weren't enough.

Then I tried 54mg and I can definitely feel a clear positive difference in my life.

My only fear is that this dose might be too high and could backfire over time, or that my body will build up tolerance and I'll lose the benefits.

Has anyone here been on the same specific dose (especially 54mg) for years without needing to increase or decrease it, and it still works well for you?

Thanks!
